BUSINESS REQUIREMENT

[ ] Identify the services and users that depend on the technology.
[ ] Name the decision owner and operational contacts.
[ ] Describe the intended outcome and acceptance scenarios.

CURRENT ENVIRONMENT
[ ] List sites, systems, applications and connectivity dependencies.
[ ] Identify existing vendors, licenses and support arrangements.
[ ] Review available diagrams, inventories and operating documentation.
[ ] Identify data handling and access requirements.

DELIVERY BOUNDARIES
[ ] Define proposed scope and exclusions.
[ ] Identify dependencies, approvals and change windows.
[ ] Clarify budget constraints and commercial prerequisites.
[ ] Agree validation, rollback and handover responsibilities.

Do not include passwords or confidential records in an initial contact enquiry.
Discuss applicable contractual and regulatory requirements with designated owners.
