OPERATIONAL VISIBILITY

Connect operational signals to purposeful action.

Organise monitoring, events, configuration context and operational workflows around critical services. Nabberx helps define an ITOM scope that connects visibility with ownership and controlled response.

CAPABILITY FRAMEWORK

Build the scope around your priorities.

These capabilities describe selectable solution areas. Availability, configuration, source compatibility and delivery responsibilities are confirmed during discovery.

01

Monitoring

Define critical services, measurement sources and threshold requirements. Coverage and collection frequency are scoped by environment.

02

Event Management

Organise supported events through classification, routing and escalation to reduce fragmented ownership.

03

Automation

Identify repeatable operational tasks and define safeguards, permissions and validation before automation.

04

Orchestration

Coordinate approved activities across systems with dependencies, exception handling and accountable owners.

05

CMDB

Model configuration items and relationships with defined ownership, update processes and reconciliation rules.

06

Discovery

Evaluate supported discovery sources and collection methods to build configuration context for the agreed scope.

FUTURE EXTENSION CANDIDATES

Expand only after scope and readiness are confirmed.

  • Patch management integration
  • Controlled remote-command workflows

These are roadmap candidates, separate from the standard ITOM scope. They are not represented as currently included functionality.

OPERATING FLOW

Connect each activity to an accountable next step.

01

Observe

02

Correlate

03

Assign

04

Respond

05

Validate

Illustrative process sequence. Actual workflows, approvals and exceptions are defined around your environment.

DELIVERY & HANDOVER

A practical engagement, with clear boundaries.

Preserve suitable existing investments and agree what must change before implementation begins.

01 / DISCOVER

Map the starting point.

Review business priorities, current processes, systems, evidence sources and ownership.

02 / DESIGN

Define the operating scope.

Agree workflows, permissions, interfaces, migration assumptions and acceptance criteria.

03 / VALIDATE

Implement controlled changes.

Configure scoped capabilities and test agreed scenarios. Plan backups and rollback for relevant changes.

04 / HAND OVER

Prepare operational ownership.

Provide agreed documentation, training and outstanding-action records; confirm ongoing support separately.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Clarify the commitment before delivery.

Discuss implementation-specific detail in your discovery conversation.

Is this a round-the-clock monitoring service?

Monitoring configuration and managed operational coverage are separate commitments. Collection frequency, support hours, alert handling and response expectations must be agreed.

Does a CMDB stay accurate automatically?

Accuracy depends on source coverage, reconciliation rules and accountable update processes. Discovery alone does not establish complete service relationships.

Are patching and remote commands included?

They are future extension candidates for this ITOM page, not standard included capabilities. Confirm availability, source compatibility and governance before adding them to an engagement.
